About Our Programs
There are two separate anti-bullying tracks:
Step Up
Step Up is a program that educates a small group of girls each semester to learn more about themselves, their relationships, and how to recognize bullying situations. Girls are selected by counselors and teachers as having high potential to learn from and apply the skills they learn. At the end of the 10 classes, girls invite their role models (usually a parent or guardian) to hear about and celebrate what the girls learned during the session.
Stand Up
Stand Up is a small group of boys selected with a blend of all kinds of leadership skills. The small group meets 9 times during a semester for to learn about bullying behavior - how to recognize it, how to be a leader to respond to and stop bullying behavior. Their hard work is recognized at a graduation where parents attend to learn what the boys took from the course and celebrate their accomplishments.
