Boys Curriculum
A Semester includes 8 sessions and Graduation
The Language of Bullying
The different ways boys can be mean to each other, and the roles in a bullying scenario.
The Role of the Bystander
The boys deconstruct a bullying scenario so that can understand the role of the person standing on the sideline. They learn tools to safely and effective stand up in a bullying situation.
Norms and Beliefs
Boys learn behavior and beliefs from many people and outside influences. Boys will identify attributes of male gender roles and create a “man-nequin' role model who displays the positive attributes of a man.
Friendship
Differentiate what healthy and unhealthy friendships look like so the boys will learn and assess the difference, and realize the attributes that other boys see in each of them.
Leadership
Insight into leadership: what it means, what qualities make good leaders, and recognizing leadership in their lives. Finally boys discuss many ways to become a good leader.
Cyberbullying-2 Sessions
Session 1:
Recognizing cyberbullying, the difference between cyberbullying and other types of bullying, and responding or intervening in a cyberbullying situation - safely.

High Five Celebration
Boys invite their parents or role model to celebrate what they learned, and how they’ll continue to Stand Up safely in situations where bullying happens.
